Key Properties
Elegant natural veining, light-reflective surface, moderate durability, requires periodic sealing. Carrara marble is softer and more porous than granite, so it scratches and etches more easily, especially from acidic foods like lemon or vinegar. Seal it when installed and reseal every 6-12 months if you’re using it on a kitchen countertop, and wipe up spills promptly to keep the surface looking clean.
